The engraving tip is made of a very hard carbide, which is ground to a sharp point. You use it with your Cricut mat to engrave, or etch into acrylic, plastic, clear cardstock, transparency, Core'dinations cardstock, or any surface you can think of! It is one piece that goes straight into your Cricut where your blade would normally go.
Works with the original Cricut, Cricut Create, Cricut Expression, Cricut Expression 2, Cricut Imagine and Cricut Mini.
These tools will not work in the new Explore machines.
